Poulin Grain Inc. wins AFIA Environmental Award!!

The American Feed Ingredient Association (AFIA) Environmental Awards program began in 1995 to recognize animal feed companies for outstanding efforts in recycling and waste reduction for the preservation of the environment. The AFIA has recognized Poulin Grain for its innovative approach to recycling paper products. Poulin Grain utilizes an employee designed airflow system that takes scrap paper from the packaging line and automatically sends it to a compactor. In addition, all other paper waste, including bags and cardboard goes to a compactor as well. This effort recycles more than 1000 pounds of paper per week.
