Poulin Grain’s Pig Grower Pellet should be fed to pigs free choice (4-8 lbs/hd/day) or as much as they will clean up between feedings. If pigs are expected to grow at peak levels, Pig Grower Pellets should be fed as the sole ration. Pig Grower Pellets may be mixed with water into a slurry if desired.
If you want a leaner “bacon type” hog, you may continue using Pig Grower Pellets as the sole ration through slaughter.
Supplemental corn may be added to the diet if a fatter, more lard type pig is desired once the pigs reach about 150 lbs.
Young adult boars should be fed Pig Grower Pellets as a maintenance diet.
